Honeycomb blinds (also known as cellular shades) are a window treatment made from soft, durable fabric that is structured into a honeycomb-shaped pattern (cells). These cells trap air, creating natural pockets of insulation.

Depending on the fabric you choose, honeycomb blinds are available in different opacities — sheer, light-filtering, or blockout — and a wide range of colours, textures and finishes.

Their greatest pro is just how amazing they are at thermal insulation. Because of their cellular design, honeycomb blinds help regulate indoor temperature incredibly well.

In winter, the cells trap warm air inside, reducing heat loss. In summer, they block incoming heat, keeping rooms cooler and lessening the load on air cooling. Over time this can lead to lower energy bills.

Light Leakage
