Special Offers / Event Offers / Vouchers / Web Site Offers

All discounts for special offers, event offers, vouchers and web site offers are all based on Blinds On Locations retail pricing. Any and all motorised products are not included in any special offers, event offers, vouchers or web site offers. No voucher or offer is applicable to existing sale prices or previously quoted work, unless approved by authorised representative of the company.



Any quotation by the Blinds On Location is not an offer to sell or to provide Goods. The Company will not be bound by any order unless it has been accepted in writing by an authorised sales person of the company. All orders accepted by the company are deemed to include these Terms and Conditions of sale.

Cancellations and Returns

A customer cancels or alters (with the prior written agreement of the Blinds On Location ) an order or any part of any order after the Company has accepted the order, the Company may invoice the customer as a debt due for all costs and expenses reasonably incurred by the Company in relation to the order and its cancellation or alteration including the cost of any materials, labour, tooling or transport. Blinds On Location does not accept returned Goods. However, it may in its absolute discretion accept the return of Goods in special circumstances with the prior written approval of an authorised representative of the Company.

Blind Installations

Prior to installation, it is the customers responsibility to remove any existing blinds, curtains or fittings that may interfere with installing the new blinds. If Blinds On Location installer has to remove any of the above, additional labor charges will apply. A minimum of $30 per windows covering removed is the base rate. Other charges may be applied, depending on what is required. Blinds on Location is not responsible for removal and disposal of any existing customer window coverings, if taken down by Blinds On Location or not. Clearing all areas around windows that have blinds to be fitted is the responsibility of the home owner. All Animals to be locked away during blind installation. Final payment to be paid prior to or on delivery or installation, if final payment not made at this time blinds may be removed. Reinstallation will be made after final payment made and will include extra time and travel charges. When blinds are ready for installation and if it can’t be done due to client delay’s, we are happy to store the blinds (for up to 3 Months)  FREE of charge. Full payment is due on invoice if this is the case.


On full service blind sales (Measure, Quote and full installation) Blinds On Location provide a 3 year manufacture warranty from date of delivery. For self measure and online sales the company provides 12 months manufacture warranty from the date of delivery of the goods. The Company does not provide any warranty that the goods are fit and suitable for the purpose for which they are required – where the purchase is made through the internet or website. We will not accept responsibility and misused window blinds. Blinds On Location blinds are for domestic use and if used in any commercial setting will cancel the warranty, unless written exemption is given by Blinds On Location.

Terms of Payment

The customer must pay 50% deposit on acceptance of a quotation and the balance payable prior to or when the Goods are installed or delivered. If prior full payment is not received and no arrangements made by the customer to pay on delivery and or installation, all the goods may be uplifted and then an extra charge will apply to redeliver and install said goods. Any uplifted goods will need to be paid in full including extra charges, before redelivery and or installation can be done. Blinds On Location reserves the right to require payment for any goods in cash or direct payment before such Goods are dispatched. If installation cannot be carried out due to clients delays then full payment is due on Invoice. The customer must not withhold payment of any account by reason of any account query, dispute, set off or technical investigation. The customer agrees to pay the Company’s administration and handling fees in respect of any copies of document required or other processing involved in the conduct of the account. A 5% penalty per month will be charged for unauthorised delay in payment. All Commercial work will need to be paid in full before any installation can be done.


We endeavour to complete the order in the estimated time given, however no responsibility is taken for delays that are beyond our control. The customer is responsible for the cost of delivery and the customer must pay the delivery charges. Any date or time quoted for delivery is an estimate only. The company will endeavor to effect delivery at time or times required by the customer. However, failure to do so does not confer on the customer any right to cancel the order or refuse delivery. The Blinds On Location obligation to deliver is discharged upon arrival of the goods at the customer’s nominated delivery destination, nominated Transport Company, nominated agent or the address appearing on the quotation form or given by the customer through an email. If the customer fails or refuses to take delivery of goods, Blinds On Location may charge the customer for any expenses or additional costs incurred by Blinds On Location ad a result of the delay.

Inspection and Claims

The customer must examine the Goods immediately after delivery. Blinds On Location is not liable for any misdeliver, shortage, defect or damage unless the Company receives details in writing along with photographic evidence within three days of the date of delivery of the Goods.


The price for any Goods ordered by you will be the price shown on the quotation form or on the website at the time you place your order and will include GST. In addition to the price, a delivery charge may be payable in respect of deliveries made of locations within New Zealand. Prices are subject to change without notice. Blinds On Location Rights If (a) any amount payable by the customer to Blinds On Location is overdue, or (b) the customer becomes bankrupt, insolvent, has a receiver appointed in respect of all or some of its assets. Blinds On Location has reserves the rights to repossess or dispose of any Goods.

Limitation of Liability

Blinds On Location will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage of any kind including without limitation any financial loss.

Romalpa Clause

A Romalpa clause in a contract provides that until payment is received, title or ownership of goods sold remain with the Blinds On Location . In other words, buyer must pay in full in order to get ownership. If buyer does not pay, Blinds On Location can therefore take possession of the goods.


Any and all wiring of moterised blinds supplied is soley the responsibility of the client. Blinds On Location are not electricians and do not take on any electrical work.

Stock Shortages

If the Goods or the fabric you order are unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and suggest a suitable replacement.

Measurements & Fitting

Blinds On Location will not replace any blinds based on incorrect measurements where guidance & advice has not been followed. The measurement you provide will be used to manufacture your blinds, measurements must be given in millimetres with the width of the blind followed by the drop of the blind, see example: 1000mm width x 2000mm drop .   Blinds On Location will be only responsible if the measurement is carried out by the company.


The customer will be responsible for disposing, at its own cost of materials used in the packaging or delivery of the goods.

The prize is not transferable for cash or to other individuals or organisations.

The prize is your choice of Roller, Venetian or Vertical Blinds up to the standard retail value off $3000.00 from the standard Blinds On Location range of blinds. No special offers or discounts apply to this prize . These conditions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

This prize does not include any electrical or remote control costs.

The prize is redeemable in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato Regions for New Zealand Homes (Blinds will not be supplied for homes out side of the above areas).
